Naughty and Nice Lingerie

Hi, loves! I hope you’ve had a great week! Today I want to take a quick minute to talk about dressing for the holidays. Usually, I would use a post like this to share outfit inspiration for holiday parties and events, but obviously this year those things aren’t happening as usual. I think most large events that typically happen this time of year have either been canceled altogether or significantly sized down. I know this is a huge bummer to a lot of you, and me, as it’s something I also really look forward to. But if I’m honest, I really need a reason to dress up right now [love loungewear but kinda over it at this point] and would typically use the holiday party circuit as a time to bring out all the pretty dresses and more formal outfits.

Anyway, this year looks different, so I’m adjusting my holiday party outfit inspiration for you guys accordingly! I still wanted to share some ideas because I think there are still some events to look forward to like small family gatherings, a game night with a few friends, or even a date night! So just know when you’re scrolling through this post, those are the kinds of gatherings I had in mind. With that said, my main focus here was kind of a “casual cute” vibe. I moved away from loungewear [for the most part — there’s still a few!] and brought in some cute denim looks and a few dressier options for those of you that as tired of sweatpants as I am, ha!

I hope this is still enjoyable for y’all to read and gather inspiration from. I linked exact items on everything I could, but otherwise sourced something very similar!

You girls know by now that sweater dresses are a consistent go-to of mine. You can never go wrong with a neutral sweater dress, honestly. I rounded up lots of options under $100 earlier in the season as well as rounded up some of my favorite cozy scarves here.

Cable knits are another item I’ve been really drawn to this year. You can find lots of favorites here or I also linked a few below as well as my must-have faux leather leggings. Also, yes, I believe Golden Goose sneakers are worth it — I wear mine constantly!

Probably my number one fall and winter shoe is the OTK boot. I reach for mine a lot and even labeled them this year’s fall must-have boot in this post. This pair is very similar to the ones I’m wearing in the photo in terms of style and the price is fantastic. The perfect look for any holiday gathering in my opinion!

This is my look when I want to keep things casual and cute but still be festive. You can never go wrong with a classic red and black buffalo check shirt this time of year. I found this one while grabbing similar links for this outfit [this photo was taken when I still lived in the States] and I really love the cute ruffle detail, and it’s under $30!

Alright, I told you ladies I still incorporated a few loungewear looks because, let’s be real, most holiday “gatherings” this year are probably just you and your significant other. This one feels a little more refined to me than just PJs. I really love a good henley with outfits like too and recommend this one.

When in doubt, this look is a great go-to. A puffer vest is a must for any winter wardrobe, as well as a good bootie and skinny jean. Such a versatile pairing you can style several different ways throughout the season.

If you don’t have a good plaid shirt hanging in your closet for a layered look, I highly recommend snagging one. It will never go out of style and you’ll be able to wear it year after year for casual holiday-inspired outfits.

I think white jeans are so cute for this time of year and really love this pair [currently on sale too]. I’ve had them for years and wear them year-round. Layer them up with some OTK boots and a sherpa to give it a winter feel and you’re good to go!

I was able to track down the exact jacket for you guys but sizing and colors are really limited as it was heavily marked down throughout Black Friday and Cyber Monday and is still 40% off plus an extra 20% off with code FESTIVE! These colors might not scream holiday but I thought it’d be a good option to throw in as we all need cute and comfortable looks to sport around the house while we’re getting the house ready for guests or whipping up our favorite Christmas cookie recipe! My exact slippers are old from Old Navy but I found these that are so similar; they just have an extra pom on each one! So cute!

If you want a full-on cozy pajama moment, you have to go with flannel PJs!

I brought a little holiday sparkle for y’all with this look! This photo isn’t from this season and the exact items have since sold out so I tracked down very similar items at a few different price points.

Very much loving the all-black look here, but I really want to call out the red lip. It’s quintessential holiday makeup and I think it’s so sweet and fun. If you’re looking for a good red lip color, I shared my favorite here.

Another great OTK look styled with one of my all-time favorite coats, which is currently 40% off. Sizing is limited but there are some left. I also linked this option [another favorite], which is currently 39% off and fully in stock in grey.

I would call this look “holiday chic”. Clearly I’m into nice white trousers for the holiday season, as I’ve shared a few looks featuring them, but I think this looks strikes me so much because of the red and white color combo — such a holiday classic and you can never go wrong.

And one more red look to finish off the round-up! I’ve been loving short puffers this year and found a similar one for you guys for under $50!

This post really got me in the holiday spirit and honestly made me remember that even without all the fancy parties, there’s still so much to look forward to this holiday season — like everything I have planned out on my December bucket list! I highly suggest making one if you need to focus on finding things to look forward to. And laying everything out in a list will show you what you might need one of these outfits for!

Enjoy the rest of your week! Thanks for stopping by today! xo.
