Classic Red Wool Blazer
Woohoo! We made it to Friday! Earlier this week I realized I needed to do a deep dive into my closet for some clothing options with color. I had been asked to do a Valentine’s Day shoot and really didn’t see too much pink and red in my closet. I love when I re-discover old pieces… in particular this amazing, classic red wool blazer.
Blazer (old, but found a gently used one on resale; similar style here) // Striped t-shirt (On sale! Under $23!) // Denim // Suede pumps // Canvas crossbody bag // Sunglasses // Hoop earrings
I still remember snagging this Isabel Marant Etoile classic red wool blazer like it was yesterday. I was preparing for my very first New York Fashion Week and wanted a jacket that would make a statement. I actually found this beauty on sale at Barney’s and it was one of my very first designer clothing purchases that I made on my own.
Want to see a blast from my blogger past? Here’s an outfit post featuring this exact blazer from almost four years ago to the day!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… at risk of sounding like a broken record. Find and invest in pieces that you’ll wear for years to come, that are classics and never go out of style. My grandmother definitely instilled this point in me at a young age. Case in point, this classic red wool blazer is still in my wardrobe rotation four years later!
