How To Pull Off The Boho Look In Your 30s
Just a few weeks back I turned 34. I know, crazy. I can’t believe it either! So even though I’ve officially hit the mid-30’s range, I never live by the rule that you have to be a certain age to wear certain fashions. If you feel good in it, I say go for it. Confidence is the best accessory you can have if you ask me.
But in the same breath, I am just not comfortable in the trends I used to wear back in my 20’s. At least not in the same way. I want to take those trends and make them work for my body and lifestyle now. That’s why today I wanted to focus on how to pull off the boho look in your 30’s.
Boho (short for bohemian) style is reflective of the hippie era of the ’60s and ’70s. It has roots dated back way before that, but that’s generally what people think of when you say boho fashion. Colors, prints, and easy-breezy pieces are the name of the game. Basically, it’s a style Free People has made for the modern woman. Tassels, maxi skirts, booties, felt hats — you name it. Those all can be part of a boho look.

Personally, I’m not super comfortable showing off a ton of skin. And some boho looks certainly require a bit of that. As I said, that’s just me though. You rock that sexy bohemian dress if you love it! I prefer to embrace the trend in the details of my outfit. This bold blue peasant top is super boho in style, especially with the embroidery details.
I added on my favorite espadrilles (which are now 50% off right by the way!) and a big straw hat to complete the look. Are you a fan of the boho trend? How do you pull it off, no matter your age? Let me know in the comments below, I’d love to see your looks!
