Incorporating animal prints in fall outfits
I’ve always loved a good animal print. If you’ve been following along here for awhile, then you’ve seen me wear the occasional animal print within an outfit here and there. Lucky for us all, it’s one of the hottest trends for fall this year, so let’s chat incorporating animal prints in fall outfits.
Blazer // Silk camisole (old, similar here and here) // Jeans // Heels // Purse // Sunglasses // Earrings // Rings // Screw cuff // Bangle Bracelets c/o
Specifically, I love a good leopard print. You might’ve seen previous outfits featuring it, in this previous post and this one. But, sometimes it’s fun to do a different animal print than leopard… enter snakeskin. I’ve had this tank for years. It’s so funny when we look at trends that come and go and come around again. I’ve been blogging long enough now (eight years!), to see some of the trends I’ve previously worn on the blog, come back again (last wore this tank in this post, it’s old!).
To transition this camisole into fall, I threw on one of my favorite blazers (another piece I’ve had for years!), and paired the look with some denim and ankle strap heels to spice it up. Incorporating animal prints in fall outfits is one of this season’s trends that I will most definitely be wearing time and time again. I just love the way an animal print pumps up the volume on an otherwise ‘okay’ outfit. Because imagine, if I had been wearing a simple black or white silk camisole in this outfit, we all would’ve thought, “cute outfit, but nothing memorable’. However, the animal print makes this outfit memorable, am I right?
Because animal prints are so hot right now, there are a bevy of options out there to choose from. Looking to add some to your fall wardrobe this season? Might I suggest this leopard print skirt (that I currently have in my shopping cart); this animal print hairbow (for a subtle touch of the trend); or this animal print blouse in red and black.
