Every gal needs a chic dress (or multiple) in their wardrobe that makes them feel fabulous the minute they slip it on. For me this season, that dress is this spotted, tweed number.

In my humble opinion, there’s no better ready-to-wear dress maker out there than Diane von Furstenberg. She seriously knows a woman’s body and knows how to cut and drape a chic dress to be figure-flattering and form-fitting for so many body types.

I’ll never forget the first DVF wrap dress in my wardrobe. My mom gave it to me for one of my high school birthdays, and the rest is history. To say I became hooked at a young age is an understatement. DVF’s dresses, her separates, they’re always chic. But there’s something about her chic dresses that are empowering and sometimes life changing!

I knew I needed this dress from the moment I saw it. With the faux wrap feel, inclusive of a double-sided belt (tweed on one side, leather on the other), paired with a shirt dress cut and flouncy hem, this baby was coming home with me without even trying it on.

Again, you know that little emoji of the gal in her dress dress dancing with sass? When I wear this tweed dress, I am that living form of the girl in the red dress emoji.

I do have to preface with the fact that DVF dresses can be a bit pricey, but again they are SO worth it! Refer back to the second paragraph to understand why I value their worth, as do so many other women. See another DVF dress, a wrap dress go-to in my closet here, plus this vintage DVF, summer go-to here. Also, checkout some of my current DVF favorites like this blush pink wrap dress and this off the shoulder floral print top. Très chic no?
