Turquoise Earrings And A Green Floral Print Dress
May is here, which means I’m living in pretty sundresses. Forget the jeans (well, not really…but you know what I mean) and I’m ready for easy-breezy looks. The sun is shining, my skin needs that sun-kissed glow, and I’m all about a great one-piece look no matter where I’m going. So with that, how on earth could I have resisted this little floral number on one of my most recent online runs through chicute? It was impossible!

For today’s look of turquoise earrings and a green floral print dress was totally inspired by my friend Shelby over at Glitter & Gingham. (I’ve known Shelby for years. Originally met her at one of our early Blog Societies Conferences and now we’re both in our #BloggersDoTravel gang!) Her style is so bold and fun and her #moreismore attitude when it comes to fashion and accessories is perfection. I wish I could pull things off the way she does. So this look today was a bit of a wink and a nudge to Shelby’s style. Instead of wearing a white or green earring to coordinate with this floral print, I went with bold turquoise tassels instead. And come on, are they not the most perfect pairing?
So for me, this green and turquoise color combination were certainly out of my typical comfort zone. But I have to say, I love the results. The final look felt so fun and fresh for the warm weather. This look would be so cute for a summer wedding or event with friends.
