Another day, another dress here on Poor Little It Girl. I told y’all, my life is all about easy-breezy dresses right now considering my belly is getting bigger by the day and pants just feel so…constricting. With how hot it’s been in Atlanta I don’t mind though. Dresses are so much easier to wear on these sticky, humid days and I’m way more comfortable in them than anything else. So of course when Kate Spade offered to send me this white eyelet summer dress for #TBScon this year, I couldn’t say no.
Y’all may remember I actually wore another Kate Spade New York dress for the blog conference last month so this white eyelet dress had yet to make her debut, until now. And it wasn’t until I was working on this blog post I realized I’m wearing almost completely head-to-toe Kate Spade New York for this look. What can I say, there’s a reason this brand is so iconic. Their styles are the perfect mix of feminine and preppy and all-around fun!
White Eyelet Summer Dress
So why do we all need a white eyelet summer dress in our lives? I say why not! Fashion is meant to make us happy and to feel good and I feel so good in this dress. While my body is changing so much it’s nice to put on normal, non-maternity, clothes and resemble my old self. Not sure if that makes sense, but it does to me. And maybe it does for other pregnant folks too.
As I said, my look is almost all Kate Spade New York and it makes me so happy. Can we talk for a moment about my accessories? Sure the LWD is great but these accessories stand on their own. The woven wedges, heart sunnies (under $10 on Amazon) and the pièce de résistance has to be this peach bag. So cute! And how appropriate for this Georiga girl, right?
