Seems I have been a bit of a repeat offender here on Poor Little It Girl lately. This past month I’ve featured not one, not two, but three shirtdresses that I’m loving and wearing non-stop. Maybe it’s the comfort of these dresses during my pregnancy or the fact that they’re considered wardrobe staples for women for a reason — but I’ve got a bit of an addiction. Regrets? I think not. If you ask me, you can never own too many shirtdresses. And the one I’m wearing today is no different. A classic style that transcends seasons and works no matter the occasion. Heading to the office, yes! Weekend errands, why not! The shirtdress is so universal no doubt I’ll continue adding more to my collection as the year continues. Who’s with me?
There are so many of my favorite affordable retailers out there that carry amazing maternity options. ASOS (which I’ll talk about later this week), Madewell, LOFT, and J.Crew to just name a few. But H&M is quickly becoming one of my go-to’s. I was so thankful when their brand reps sent me a box of goodies both for me and baby Peshek recently. And inside, this shirtdress. Immediately I threw it on and was like yes, YES! A match made in fashion heaven. It was chilly out so I paired this maternity shirtdress with leggings and boots, but as we head into spring with my pregnancy (and growing bump) I can easily wear this dress with sandals or sneakers with bare legs.
